Meet the Team

It truly takes a village! We’re always looking for more volunteers. Here is the core staff that makes Tricks & Treats on E St and other community events possible:

Rena (ReeRee) Goldman – Event Organizer

Rena has lived on E St for four years. She loves her neighbors and is always looking for ways to give back to the community that accepts all her eccentric quirks. On the block she’s known as Cousin ReeRee. Rena is also a freelance writer for a health and lifestyle website and a trade publication for the construction industry. Find her on Twitter at @ReeRee_writes.

Jatonne Trianna – Game Supervisor

Jatonne has lived on E St for three years. She enjoys working with kids and feels it is important to give back to her community. We rely on Jatonne’s teaching background to help us maintain order. She makes sure the kids understand the rules and the games run smoothly. One year, Jatonne also made a special appearance as Batman’s sidekick, Robin.

Catherine Grey (Miss Cathy) – Chief Chef

Catherine has lived on E St for eight years. She’s well known in the community and goes by Miss Cathy on the block. Her favorite thing about living here is when people get together for cookouts and celebrations. Catherine has been part of the Halloween party since its beginning, providing delicious spaghetti for dinner between activities. She says she looks forward to helping again this year and to watching the fire performance.

James (BoBo) – On-Call Villain

James has lived on E St his entire life – on the block he’s known as BoBo. He believes it’s important to give back to the community, so the kids here today can have things he didn’t. Each Halloween event he puts on his Jason Voorhees mask to have some scary fun with the kids. James says he loves to see the children smile.

Aaron Bryant – On-Call Superhero

Aaron is a local actor who has been living with Rena on E St for four years. So far he’s been Spiderman, Captain America, and Batman for the Halloween event. He uses his professional training to get into character. We’re not sure who had more fun in past years – Aaron getting to play Batman or the kids getting to meet Batman! Aaron has made appearances on several Discovery ID programs, the History Channel, and House of Cards.
